Nathan's certified!!

As of yesterday, Nathan is officially certified to train EPIC!

After four weeks of unorganized and dysfunctional training, Nathan put together his "lesson" presentation for Wednesday. Yesterday they received word that Nathan IS INDEED now certified to train others in EPIC -the new computer system that Legacy is installing in both their inpatient and outpatient systems. While this is the first time that inpatient and outpatient will go live simultaneously anywhere in the nation, it's still a little ways off.

This certification is just the first step in this two year committment that Nathan has taken on.

Working days has been a big change...but as well, he is now back to working a five day work week. When he was working nights it was only 8 nights every two weeks, so the work routine has not only changed daylight hours, it has also changed to the consistant 5 day week. The early mornings are different but the extra day is taking some getting used to for him.

In any case! - WE CELEBRATE THE CERTIFICATION!!
(and did we mention we pumped our septic tank this summer? -This breaking ground experience, pictured here, as we tore up the lawn, hunting for the thing, just felt appropriate for this announcement somehow. Meanwhile the family is very proud of dad for taking on this new job challange!!)
